1. Zoom App on MacBook
1.1. How to Install
The Zoom App is available to install from the Self Service portal on your computer
or by going to bwscampus.zoom.us and clicking on the "download client" link at the bottom of the page.
1.2. Updating the Zoom App
The Zoom app will automatically update. You do not have to do anything to update the app.

In a web browser, Go to bwscampus.zoom.us; Click Sign In; If prompted, choose SSO; Continue with your Brentwood email
In the Zoom App, click on "SSO" and continue with your BWS email. If need the, server address is bwscampus.zoom.us

You can join a meeting by clicking the meeting link or going to join.zoom.us and entering in the meeting ID.

6.3. Enabling Breakout Rooms
Overview
Breakout rooms allow you to split your Zoom meeting in up to 50 separate sessions. The meeting host can choose to split the participants of the meeting into these separate sessions automatically or manually, and can switch between sessions at any time.
Account settings
To enable the breakout room feature for all members of your organization:

Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit account settings.

In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.

Navigate to the Breakout Room option on the Meeting tab and verify that the setting is enabled.
If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose Turn On to verify the change.
6.4. Virtual Backgrounds
To use virtual backgrounds on our school computers, you will need to check the box for "I have a green screen" and then follow the directions below.

Manually pick the background color to ensure the correct color is selected. This option is only available after you click an image.

Ensure that the background is a solid color with minimal shadows. Also ensure the background is uniform in lighting. A 3 point lighting setup is ideal.

Ensure that your green screen color does not match your shirt or eye color.
6.5. Computer/Device Audio
On most devices, you can join computer/device audio by clicking Join Audio, Join with Computer Audio, or Audio to access the audio settings.
