1. Logging In

1.1. Logging into BWS Gmail

To login to BWS Gmail, visit http://mail.bwscampus.com, you will be presented with a screen similar to the one below.  Enter your network username and password and click Login.

Google Drive gives you control over all of your file types in a single place, including video files. With Google Drive, you can:

- Sync or upload video files up to 5 TB in size (limited by available storage space)

- Sync or upload video files in the following formats:

◦ .WebM files (Vp8 video codec; Vorbis Audio codec)
◦ .MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files - (h264 and mpeg4 video codecs; AAC audio codec)
◦ .AVI (MJPEG video codec; PCM audio)
◦ .MPEGPS (MPEG2 video codec; MP2 audio)
◦ .WMV
◦ .FLV (Adobe - FLV1 video codec, MP3 audio)
◦ .MTS

4. Account Management

4.1. Migrate BWS Google Apps Data to Personal Google Account

Congratulations! You're going to graduate and head off to college. Good thing, we need your parking space...

You probably want to hang on to all your emails, documents, and what-not that you saved to your bwscampus.com Google Account. You never know when you will need a good dose of nostalgia.

Click on the following Apps for directions on how to migrate your data from each one into your personal account:


Please note when migrating your BWS Gmail to your personal account, you will need to do the following:

1. Enable POP access in your BWS Account

2. When adding the account to your personal GMail, use your full BWS email address as the username

3. Change the POP Server to pop.gmail.com





You can also download a copy of your data via Google Takeout

4.2. Changing account password

If your BWS Google account has been compromised, you should log out of all active sessions and change your password immediately.

1. While logged in to Gmail, click on the account acitvity "Details" link in the lower right corner of the browser window

2. Sign out of all sessions


3. Log out of your account and then go back to the login screen at mail.bwscampus.com and click the "Change Your Network Password" link


4. Enter your old password and new password. This will also change your network login password for other Brentwood resources (public computers, Eagle Eye, etc)



5. Log in once again and check the box in front of "Are your passwords out of sync?"

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Chrome freezes when trying to print from Google Drive

If you are using Google Chrome and it runs slowly or freezes or seems to cause your computer to freeze, this can be due to too many open Google Drive tabs.

Be sure to close Google Drive and Google Drive docs when not in use to preserve system resources and to avoid page errors.

Downloading copies of the docs to your computer and printing locally is also helpful.

5.2. Mail "Loading" Error

When using Mozilla Firefox, you may see an issue after you send an e-mail, the yellow "Loading..." status appears and never goes away, possibly leaving mail unable to be sent.

This issue is caused from the "Send in Background" Lab in GMail. To resolve this issue, please disbale this Lab in your Mail Settings.
